The restaurant is beautiful, the food is great and authentic. The owner served us a pita bread and hummus. The pita was light, crisp, and delicious. Unlike the ones in the grocery store. My husband had a large gyro that he said was delicious. What originally caught my eye was their name, Lebanese Grill and Sushi. It was such a whimsical pairing that I had to order sushi. It was beautiful and all I could ask of a sushi lunch. The owner was friendly and solicitous. We highly recommend it.
Sometimes I crave middle eastern and sushi. It's just all so yummy and this place spectacularly has both! The ambiance of the place isn't much, booths and decor that don't quite fit right, but thats how you KNOW the food is going to hit the spot. It was quiet and not crowded which is exactly what one needs after climbing down the road for four hours. I personally loved that the host was awkward the same way I would be talking to guests. He also gave our table a free yellowtail dish. He cared about us as people not just as customers. Love this place and its odd charm
My friend and I ate at Beirut Grill yesterday. The service was beyond excellent. We both ordered the lamb shanks. They were amazing: tender, seasoned perfectly! Our meal came with an appetizer of homemade humus and a basket of fresh baked -- still piping hot -- pita bread. The Grill is not fancy, but was nicely decorated with Middle Eastern music playing.
Don't be afraid of the location or the decor, they have excellent food and believe it or not, excellent sushi. I had the lamb shank and it was outstanding, my Son had the lamb Chops and he enjoyed them as well. Excellent service and very attentive, give them a shot, you won't be disappointed.
The food rivals anything in the city. The hummus may be the best of my experience in worldwide travels. The Chicken Shawarma is delicious & may be my best experience...so for Englewood, hmm. really good. Try it, you will like it. Can't speak to the sushi, ..
Absolutely the best Mediterranean food in the State! The food is amazing and consistent every time. I love all the vegan options and have been coming here for many years, since the original owner. Since then, I've made this a go-to spot for the veggie plate. The baba will melt in your mouth with tahini deliciousness. The hummus is also insanely delicious, as well as all the salads and falafel. My favorite place for healthy delicious Mediterranean food!
